Description and specifications:

  • The custom-made sole looks like a perfectly ordinary sole, but has all the features of a barefoot shoe. With a thickness of less than 5 mm, it is extremely flexible and allows natural foot movement and sensory feedback to the brain.
  • The sole is also Zero Drop, which means that there is no difference in thickness between the forefoot and the rearfoot, allowing for balance and stability.
  • The wide toebox allows your toes to be in a natural, relaxed position.
  • The shoes come with two pairs of insoles, 3 mm and 5 mm thick.

Materials:

  • Upper: 70% corn processing residues; 30% organic cotton and microfibre suede
  • Lining: 100% recycled polyester;
  • Shoelaces: 100% organic cotton;
  • Sole: rubber, 50% recycled rubber.

The table shows the inner length and width of the shoes.

How to choose the right size:

  1. You will need a sheet of paper and a pen.
  2. Place your foot on the piece of paper so that your heel is against the wall.
  3. Mark on the sheet where your longest toe ends. The longest is usually your first or second toe.
  4. It is important to measure both feet, as one may be longer than the other.
  5. Measure the lengths marked.
  6. The manufacturer's recommendation is to add 8 mm to 12 mm to the length for larger measurements and 6 mm to 10 mm for smaller measurements.
  7. Check the size chart to see which size fits you.

EXAMPLE: You have measured that your foot, from the heel to the longest toe, is 26,4 cm long.

  1. First add 8 mm to 12 mm to the length of 26,4 cm.
  2. The shoe that would be optimal for your foot should be between 27,2 cm and 27,6 cm long.
  3. If you compare the resulting measurements with the table, the optimum size for you will be 41 or 42*:

Size (EU) Length [cm] Width [cm]
41 27,1 9,7
42 27,7 9,9

Choosing the thickness of the insole: Insoles of different thicknesses can help you to balance the roominess of the shoe:

  • If you feel that the length of the shoe fits you, but you find that it is difficult to fix your foot over the instep or in general, try a shoe with the thicker (5 mm) insole.
  • Conversely, if you feel that the shoe fits in length but is tight across the instep or generally pinches your foot, try a shoe with the thinner (3 mm) insole.

Origin: Elche (Spain).

* Note: If you are choosing between two sizes, consider the following factors: if you have no experience with barefoot shoes, you may prefer a smaller size to give you the feel of barefoot walking, and the transition between regular shoes and barefoot shoes will not be as extreme. If you already have experience with barefoot footwear, you may find that a larger size would suit you, or, judging by your own experience, you can already determine how much space you need. Also consider the possibility that wearing socks adds a millimetre to the length of your foot, so also consider the thickness of the socks you will be wearing so that the shoe doesn't get too tight.
