Contains: 8 large pucks and 2 small pucks (one for spare)
GAME RULES:
The goal of the game is to throw the big puck as close to the small puck as possible. The game is played by 2 or 4 players (2 pairs). It is played with 8 large and 1 small puck (1 is spare). Each player plays with 4 pucks, in pairs each with 2 pucks of the same color. The player who wins the toss rolls the small puck first. Correctly dropped pucks are at least 2m (5m for official competitions) and at most 10m away from the player. After the small puck is thrown, the same player also throws the big puck. The next throw belongs to the opponent or to the opposing pair, who throws as long as his or their puck is no closer to the small puck. A competitor can throw only 1 puck at a time. The round ends when all players discard their pucks. In each throwing round, a player (double) scores 1 point for each puck that is closer to the small puck than any of the opponent's pucks. A maximum of 4 points can be scored in one round. The right to the starting throw in the new round is given to the player who in the previous round brought his puck closest to the small puck. The winner of the game/set is the player (pair) who wins 13 points first. By mutual agreement, it is possible to play on several won sets. Enjoy the game!
We used to call this game (when it did not yet have uniform competition rules) just bocce ball... in some places it is still called that today. J
"Balinčkanje" is a traditional Slovenian game (known in some neighboring countries as boccia discs or petanque discs) and has its roots in Istria, where shepherds used to throw flat stones while socializing.
In the 1970s and 1980s, stones were replaced by modern materials; plastic and rubber ingots. The tiles brought a lot of joy when they were together, but due to their hardness, they bounced off each other uncontrollably.
In 2005, a group of fans wrote down the uniform rules of bocce, and due to the name distinction from bocce, balinčki became tiles, and the game was given the Slovenian name prstomet.
Because we want to present the game throughout Europe and beyond, we have given the finger thrower an international name - FINGERDISC
Why are fingerdiscs - FINGERDISC - different from "bocce balls"?
Slovenian product - FINGERDISC game tiles were designed and manufactured in Slovenia. During production, we took into account all prescribed competition requirements and specifications.
Each puck weighs approx. 75g and 100mm diameter, with a 15mm hole in the middle. We also took into account the bilateral symmetry of the puck (three outer 10mm waves, a 6mm plane and one inner 8mm wave) for a more accurate throw! The tiles are made of a special rubber that is completely recyclable. The rubber is specially selected to provide flexibility and high friction for the best puck grip when landing (without bounce). They are suitable for playing on concrete, asphalt, grass, ceramic, parquet, laminate, sand, wood, parquet...anywhere. The packaging contains the basic rules of the game in Slovenian and English. The tiles are compactly stored in a convenient holder. With only 0.68 kg and a small size (15x12x10cm), the game is easy to carry...always with you! J
The game has a lot of advantages:
