The 19th book in the Tiny Tiny series. The Crumbs is the work of Antoine Krings, born in 1962 in France. His educational and entertaining collection has become an international bestseller, with 36 titles published by Gallimard to date. Polonca Kovač has translated the two books into Slovenian, preserving the style and humour of the original.

Crumbs are insects and other small animals and they all live in the same garden. The behaviour of Tiny Tots is very similar to that of small children: they can feel joy and anger, pain and tenderness, envy and friendship. The world of the Crumbs is bright and calming, full of imagination and humour. The stories also have an educational aspect: the Tiny Tots are in all kinds of relationships with each other, sometimes fighting with each other, but at the same time learning that others are different and learning to accept these differences.

The expressive illustrations help children develop their sense of art and colour. The booklets have a very convenient format and children can easily flip through them. The booklets are aimed at children from 3 to 7 years old, but as they contain a lot of humour and some poignancy, they are also read with interest by adults.
