Game description

On 11 July 1899, the Union Pacific Express left Folsom. Within minutes after departure, bandits attacked the train and robbed the passengers. Will they manage to steal a suitcase full of money under the protection of Sheriff Samuel Ford? Or will the robbers get in each other's way more often than not? Each of the bandits has his own style of fighting (certain strengths) which can help you throughout the game if you make good use of them.

For children and adults

The simple rules will be quickly mastered by adults and children alike. The gameplay is balanced - even in terms of the bandits' special powers - making it fun for players of all ages. The game is fast-paced and often unpredictable: many a plan will go awry in an instant, and it's in the moments of greatest confusion that the game becomes most entertaining. The game was also awarded the prestigious Spiel des Jahres 2015.

Rules of the game

The game is played in five rounds, each round having two phases - planning and attack. In the planning phase, each player can draw new cards or play action cards. Using the cards, players can move from carriage to carriage (players move on a 3D cardboard train), to the roof, shoot, fight or steal money from passengers. In the attack phase, the cards of all players are executed simultaneously, in the order we have defined. This means that one of the players may overtake you and steal all the gold coins before you have managed to get to the richest carriage. The one who shoots the most mints will, of course, be rewarded with an additional prize of 1000$, in addition to the rightful bragging rights. The winner of the game is the one who manages to grab the biggest loot!
