Bundgaard first-step shoes are suitable for narrow to normal width feet, low to medium instep.

Description and specifications

The shoes fit snugly on the foot and offer good support around the ankle and the best possible conditions for first steps.
They are intended for indoor use.
They are made of soft, breathable leather materials and lined with vegetable-tanned leather.
The sole is made of rubber.
The cut is wide for natural foot development with an adjustable opening, while the narrow opening and heel section ensure a perfect fit on narrow or wider feet.
The shoe has a velcro closure for an optimal fit.
The shoe has extra padding on the upper edge, making them soft and comfortable to wear, even when the child is crawling.
An extra leather layer on the toes protects against wear and tear when the child crawls.
The insole can be removed to ensure a snug fit and make it easier to clean the inside of the shoe.

Maintenance

Always impregnate shoes before first use to prevent dirt, grease and liquid from penetrating the leather. We recommend that you choose your impregnation product carefully. Leather is a natural material and each product is unique. It will need a little care over time as the leather will be slightly dry to look and feel. Start by wiping the shoe with a well-wrung damp cloth and allow the shoe to dry. Then use a leather polish or leather grease. Do not expose wet or damp footwear to a direct heat source (e.g. radiator).

Warning. Shoes can wear out more quickly when you ride a bike or a powered scooter. This type of wear is not grounds for a complaint. Always make sure your shoes fit properly before putting them on. Shoes worn outside cannot be returned.
