Djeco board game Yams

The Djeco Yams board game is a fast and fun family dice game designed specifically for children aged 4 to 8 years. Players roll the dice to try to make animal combinations and collect the tokens on their playing card. The first person to line up three chips in a row wins - or achieves a remarkable Yamslam!

Content:

• 4 playing cards

• 28 tokens

• 5 dice

• Instructions for the game

Aim of the game:

• First to collect 3 chips in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally)
  or

• Make 5 identical animals (Yamslam) in one throw and win instantly!

Preparing the game:

• Each player receives one playing card and 6 coloured chips.

• The dice are placed in the centre of the table.

• The youngest player starts, the game is played clockwise.

Game flow:

In each round, the player rolls 5 dice up to three times, and after each roll can choose which dice to keep and which to re-roll. The aim is to make a certain combination of animals corresponding to one of the spaces on the playing card: once the player has made a combination, he places a token on the corresponding space on the card.
