Djeco Happy family card game

Game description 

A great family strategy card game that encourages thinking and logical reasoning. The aim of the game is to bring the whole family together. The player who takes his turn asks the other player for a card from the same family as the card he already has. If that player has that card, he must give it to him and the game continues. The player with the most families wins.

Rules of the game 

We have 7 families: A - baker's family, B - gardener's family, C - fireman's family, D - shopkeeper's family, E - hairdresser's family, F - postman's family, G - doctor's family.

Each family consists of 6 cards: daughter, son, mother, father, grandmother and grandfather.

Each player is dealt 7 cards. The remainder form a pile for picking up. Players group the cards by family. The game is played clockwise, starting with the youngest player. When it is the first player's turn, he chooses any player and asks for the card of the family member of his choice (he must have at least one card from that family). If he gets the card he asked for, he continues the game. If not, he takes a card from the pile and it is the next player's turn. When a player has chosen 6 cards from the same family, he calls 'family' and places 6 cards in front of him. He can immediately resume the game and ask for a new card. The game ends when all families have been collected. The aim of the game is to bring as many families together as possible.
