Kakadu T-shirt competition - General Terms and Conditions
The purpose of the Cockatoo T-shirt Sweepstakes is to increase the visibility of the Kakadu.si children's online shop on Facebook. We will reward the popularity of the t-shirts, creativity and fun.
General provisions
The prize draw is hosted on Facebook, but Facebook is not a sponsor of the prize draw, nor is the prize draw in any way affiliated with Facebook. The prize draw is organised by Kakadu d.o.o., Pilonova ulica 34, 1000 Ljubljana (hereafter referred to as the organiser or Kakadu Children's Shop). The prize draw runs until 30.6.2011 inclusive. Each individual can create a maximum of 3 t-shirts.
Competition procedure and conditions of participation In order to enter the competition, the participant must (if he/she has not already done so) click on the "Like/Like" button on the Kakadu.si fan page on Facebook. The prize draw is open to everyone who is a member of the Kakadu.si fan page on Facebook. The prize draw is open to persons with permanent or temporary residence in the Republic of Slovenia who are over 18 years of age and who accept the terms and conditions of the prize draw. Participation in the prize draw is not conditional on purchase and is not charged by the Kakadu children's shop. Participants are responsible for all costs of participation (such as data transmission costs, internet access, etc.). Employees and other persons working for Kakadu d.o.o. and their immediate family members are not allowed to participate in the prize draw.
Mode of cooperation
To enter the prize draw, users must create a Kakadu T-shirt using the app. To use the app, the user must allow the app to access their data; post it on their wall. The prize draw organiser will only use the data obtained (first name, last name, email address, date of birth) for the purpose of the prize draw. By creating a Kakadu T-shirt, the user is already participating in the competition for a number of prizes listed below.
The prize draw runs until 30.6. After the end of the prize draw, the Kakadu Children's Shop will announce the winners within 7 days. In the event of incomplete, incorrect or false information (e-mail address or name, surname and address where the prize is to be sent), the Organiser has the right to refuse the participant's participation in the prize draw or to exclude him/her from the prize draw. The Organiser reserves the right to amend and modify the terms and conditions of the prize draw and undertakes to publish any amendments on the www.kakadu.si website.

Among the 100 t-shirts with the most characters, a 3-member jury (Tamara Gogič, Marketing Manager at Maros, Jaka Šimenc, freelance cultural worker and Katja Klepec, Director of Moja MOja.) will award the above-mentioned prizes. Originality and wit will be taken into account in the selection of the prize. Only T-shirts that are among the 100 most popular T-shirts with the most likes will be eligible. Only votes (likes) from Slovenian users will count towards the number of votes.
1. The T-shirt with the most likes receives a special additional prize, where only votes (likes) from Slovenian users are taken into account. The prize is a book of your choice from the Kakadu online shop. And of course a Kakadu T-shirt.
A Facebook user enters the prize draw with a maximum of 3 t-shirts created. In case of creating more t-shirts, the organizer reserves the right to delete all t-shirts of the user. The winner of the prize for the most voted T-shirt will also participate in the competition for the T-shirts selected by the 3-member jury.
Selecting the winners and notifying the winners
A panel of three members, representing the Organiser, will be responsible for the administration and supervision of the prize draw and for the selection of the winners. The selection of the best cockatoo T-shirts will take place within 7 days after the end of the competition at the organiser's address (Pilonova ulica 34, 1000 Ljubljana). The winners will be notified of the outcome by e-mail and on the Facebook fan page Kakadu.si. Kakadu Children's Shop reserves the right to tag the winner when posting on the wall/wall of the Kakadu.si Facebook fan page.
Collection of the prize and notification of winners The winner, as a taxable person, is obliged to provide the organiser with basic personal data (name and surname, address, tax number and tax office). The prize can be collected in person at Pilonova ulica 34, 1000 Ljubljana or by post to the address provided by the winner. In the event of collection by post, the postage costs of EUR 3.2 will be borne by the winner. Personal collection of the prizes is by arrangement with the responsible person at the Organiser (tel.: ) Prizes are taxed according to the Income Tax Act. Income tax with respect to the prize will be withheld by the prize organiser. The prize must be claimed by the winner within 45 days of the date of publication (with the exception of Kakadu T-shirts), otherwise the prize will be forfeited. Kakadu T-shirts will be made by 1 September, so winners can claim them between 1 September and 15 October. Kakadu T-shirts are 2-3 years old (98 cm). Winners will be notified of their prize via Facebook or the email address entered in their user account - within 10 days of the announcement. The winner is obliged to provide the Organiser with his/her personal data and tax number within one week. If the winner fails to provide these details, he/she will be deemed not to have accepted the prize and will be deemed to have withdrawn from the prize. In such a case, the Organiser shall be released from all obligations towards the winner. If Ser finds that a user has participated in the competition in breach of the rules and conditions of the competition, he/she will not be entitled to the prize. The right to claim the prize cannot be transferred to a third party. Prizes awarded are not exchangeable or redeemable in cash.
Data protection The participant in the prize draw authorises the organiser as the controller to manage, maintain and process the collection of personal data collected from participants and registered users in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 86/04 and 67/07) until the participant's cancellation. The organiser guarantees the protection of personal data in accordance with the law. The database manager may process the collected personal data for the purposes of informing about the prize competition and other promotions of the kakadu.si online shop.
The Organiser undertakes not to disclose the data to any third party, except as necessary for the purpose of the prize draw. During the management of personal data, the individual has the possibility to consult, copy, copy, amend, correct, block and delete the personal data in the database, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
The Organiser may process the collected data (name, surname, address, e-mail) for the purposes of informing you about the prize draw and for the purposes of informing you and informing you about offers, news and benefits and for other marketing purposes.
By participating in the prize draw, the user agrees that Kakadu d.o.o. may send him/her free of charge general notifications related to the prize draw and the offer via SMS, post and e-mail until the withdrawal of this consent. Kakadu Children's Shop undertakes to process and protect the data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.
The user may at any time request that the use of his/her personal data be terminated within 14 days. This can be done in writing (Kakadu d.o.o., Pilonova 34, 1000 Ljubljana or by email to [email protected] - with the subject WITHDRAWAL.
Incoming tax
The prize draw organiser will deduct the income tax for the prize winners in accordance with the applicable regulations. Any additional income tax due in accordance with the annual income tax ruling will be charged to the winners.
Authorship of texts on cockatoo T-shirts
By participating in the prize draw, users of the prize draw transfer their material copyright to the organiser. The Prize Winner is entitled to the full use of these rights, both for general use and for promotional purposes. They also authorise the publication of their T-shirt, name and surname on the website, in print and electronic media and in any other media that may be published. The entrant waives any claims in this respect (including the waiver of royalties).
The author of the text warrants that it is entirely his own work and that he has not infringed any copyright and/or any other rights of third parties.
Withdrawal of inappropriate contributions / virtual t-shirts
Texts with inappropriate content will be removed from the competition. The Organiser reserves the right to judge the suitability of the texts submitted on the virtual T-shirts. In particular, the Organiser will consider unintelligible, degrading, immoral, discriminatory content as inappropriate content. Or content that incites illegal or immoral acts.
Final provisions
The Organiser reserves the right to change the Rules if technical, commercial or public reasons so require. The Organiser will keep participants informed of any changes and updates to the prize draw by posting on the Facebook fan page www.facebook.com/kakadu.si. The general terms and conditions of the prize draw are available at kakadu.si. For further information, interested persons can also write to prodaja @kakadu.si, with the subject "Raffle".
Prizes cannot be paid in cash and prizes cannot be exchanged.
By participating in the prize draw, you are deemed to have accepted the Facebook Rules and the general terms and conditions of this prize draw.
