Woom helmet mechanism (2021)

In accordance with the certification guidelines, a sizing system designed for the specific helmet model must be used. Therefore, a mechanism designed for a new model should not be fitted to a previous model.

1. First check whether the helmet on which you want to change the size adjustment system is the current model or the previous model. There are two ways to find out:

- compare the size levels on the back of the helmet. The previous model is available in sizes S: 48-53, M: 52-56 and L: 55-60, the current model in sizes XS: 46-50, S: 50-53 and M: 53-56;

- unlike the current model, the previous model has triangular openings in the plastic strip.

2. Now remove the side pads by separating them with the clamps and set them aside.

3. Remove the fitted size adjustment system by carefully pulling the white plastic strap and removing it from the fastener in the helmet. Repeat the process on the other side. It is very important that the pins to be pulled out are not broken and do not remain stuck in the retaining rings.

Tip: you can use a small plastic lever to take the coats off.

4. Take the new size adjustment system and fit it into the helmet so that the lettering on the pad is not facing the wrong way.

5. Now press the white plastic strip into the fastener on both sides. Each time you do this, you will hear a loud click.

6. Check that the size adjustment system is in the correct position in the helmet. If it is not in the correct position, repeat steps 3 to 5.

7. To finish, place the side pads you set aside in step 2 in the appropriate place in the helmet: position them so that the lettering is not facing the wrong way.
