Rules of the game:
1. Before you start, remove all the puzzle pieces from the ball. There are 7 pieces: 6 with 3 hexagons and 1 with 2 hexagons. Start by placing the smaller piece (2 hexagons) in any of the 24 valid starting positions on the ball. This starting puzzle piece must always cover 1 space on the ball with a pit and 1 space without a pit (if it covers 2 pits the game cannot be solved).
2. Place the 6 other pieces in the sphere without removing or moving the small starting piece. The protrusions on the underside of the piece must fit into the inner dimple of the ball.
3. You have found a solution when all the pieces fit the shape of the ball. Often there can be more than one solution.
