PLAYING INSTRUCTIONS: The aim of the game is to string the longest caterpillar. Preparation. Arrange the coloured rings in the centre of the table. Rules. The youngest player starts and rolls the die, stringing the ring in the colour that fell on the die onto the string. The game continues with each player rolling a die and stringing a ring of that colour onto their track. Play continues until all players have 6 rings on their track. If a player rolls a colour on the die with no rings available in the centre of the board, that player rolls the die again. After 6 rounds, each player puts a head on the caterpillar. The player with the longest track wins. Game variations. You can also play the game by agreeing not to re-roll the dice if there are no more rings in the colour of the dice and the player misses a round. Another variation of the game is to make it a rule that no two rings of the same colour may be strung in succession. You can also play the game in your own way and add another rule.
