Rules of the game

1. Arrange 25 cards with different thumbnails on the table - some of the thumbnails will belong to one group and some to another, some will be neutral, and one card will hide the killer, and its selection will mean the immediate end of the game and defeat for the team that selects it.
2. Both groups designate a secret agent within their group to give clues to the correct frames in the form of associations. These two team leaders will be the only ones who know which thumbnail belongs to which group.
3. Each time the group makes a move, the leader will give a clue to the rest of the group in the form of a word and a number. The number will indicate how many cards are associated with his clue, e.g. "animals, 3!". The other players in his group must now try to select the correct cards described by the given clue.
4. The game is played until one group manages to find all the words that belong to it, or until one group mistakenly chooses the killer card.

The game contains: 14 agent cards in two colours, a double-sided agent card, 4 innocent witness cards, a murderer card, 140 image cards and 61 other cards

Codenames is designed for both experienced and less experienced players, and also excels as a family board game. The team bonding will grow from move to move, as you guess what your team leader was thinking and which frames are the right ones. It's also a pretty good feeling when you manage to trick your opponents into calling your agent instead of their own by mistake!
