Puky LS-PRO models have a low top tube, which makes it easy to get on and off the bike. They allow a fairly upright riding position, which combined with the bike's extreme lightness, makes it easy to balance easily and confidently when riding.

How does the automatic gearbox work?
The 2-speed automatic gearbox (Flowmatic) automatically shifts between 1st and 2nd gear. When the revs are high, the gearbox shifts into second (higher) gear - this happens at a speed of about 8 km/h. When the pedal revs decrease sufficiently during acceleration, the bike detects this again and shifts back to first gear fully automatically. The child does nothing but push the pedals and operate the handlebars and brakes, just like on a normal bike. The advantage of the gearbox is that the child can reach slightly higher speeds without spinning the pedals idle (which happens very quickly on such small bikes).

The bike has two handbrake (V-stops), so the pedals are free to swivel backwards, allowing optimum pedal positioning at rest.

Wheel frame is powder-coated, so the paint is very durable - resistant to impact, UV rays and other weathering. The paint is free of toxins and harmful substances.

Braking system has standard and child-friendly V-brakes. This means that when the pedals are stationary, the child can freely rotate the pedals backwards and optimally adjust them for starting. Brake levers are ergonomically adapted and adjustable.
