Features:

The low weight is due to Inmold technologies that combine an external hard shell with an internal Hi-EPS section. ČThe boat is also equipped with MIPS. The MIPS system is a thin layer of plastic embedded on the inside of the helmet shell with low friction, which allows a sliding movement of 10 to 15 mm in all directions. Studies show that this reduces some of the rotational forces transmitted to the brain during side falls. Large air vents are the basis for good airtightness and the Run System Ergo Flex MIPS ensures an optimal fit.

Edge protect: a protective layer that makes the helmet more resistant to fractures and scratches and offers additional protection against the elements during frequent use.
HI-EPS: The inner mould of the Alpina helmet is made of HI-EPS (expandable polystyrene). This material is made up of microscopic air spaces that effectively absorb the forces generated on impact.
Inmold Tec: In INMOLD helmets, the inner layer turns into foam under high pressure and heat and sticks under the outer layer. Because the inner and outer parts are fully bonded, INMOLD helmets are extremely stable and very light. In addition, they offer significantly more safety than point-glued helmets.
CERAMIC SHELL: the name given to the outer shell of all Alpina helmets made using the Inmold process. It is a thin, lightweight material that is extremely resistant to impact and scratches, contains UV stabilisers and is anti-static.
Run System Ergo Flex+ - a rotary knob on the back of the head allows easy adjustment of the helmet size to the head, ensuring a perfect fit and safety.
ERGOMATICITY: The tried and tested buckle is used on all Alpina helmets. Multi-stage adjustment that can be operated with one hand. In addition, the buckle cannot undo itself in the event of an accident.
Y-BELT: The Y-belt connects the front and back belts below the ears. When the buckle is undone, you can easily move the position of the straps and make fine adjustments. This allows an optimal fit of the helmet.

Fitting a helmet

For optimum protection, please follow the steps below to fit the helmet:

Place the helmet on your head and open the strap splitting mechanism.
Refit the two ear buds so that they join just below the ear. The ear buds must not overlap the ears. Close the mechanism to separate the ear flaps.
Position the chin strap so that it is both snug and comfortable against the chin. The clasp should not be directly in front of the chin. The length of the chin strap can be adjusted on the buckle. Close the clasp.
Adjust the wheel on the back of the head according to the circumference of the child's head. The helmet should fit snugly and comfortably on the child's head. To offer optimum protection, the helmet should cover the forehead and not be pushed too far to the back of the head.

Alert

This helmet is designed exclusively for cycling, scooters, rollerblades, skateboards and powered scooters. It is not suitable for skiing, climbing, riding or motorcycling. Helmets should not be used by children when climbing or other activities where there is a risk of choking or hanging if a child becomes entangled with the helmet. For this reason, children should not use helmets in playgrounds and especially not on climbing ladders.
